Doctrinal Statement

What we believe:

We believe there is but one living and true God, revealed in three persons- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit the same in substance, in power and in glory.

We believe in the substitutional death of Jesus Christ.

We believe in one condition of salvation, which is acceptance of the Lord Jesus Christ by faith as a personal Savior. We also believe that a Godly sorrow for sin and a Godly life is the fruit thereof. People thus born again by the Holy Spirit become Children of God.

We believe in the personal abiding of the Holy Spirit in every believer.

We believe the Word of God is the inspired Word as stated in 2 Timothy 3:16-17:

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”

We believe in one church of God, embracing all believers in faith.

We believe in the judgments as set forth by Jesus Christ.

We believe there are two sacraments: Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.

We believe Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary and is true God and true man.

We believe man was created in the image of God. Genesis 1:27 says:

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him: male and female created he them”.

We also believe that man sinned and thus caused both physical death and spiritual death.

We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of the Lord Jesus Christ, in His ascension into Heaven, and in His present life there for us as High Priest and Advocate.

We believe in the blessed hope of the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, the personal and imminent return of our Lord into the air for His saints. We believe in the personal, visible, and glorious return of Christ to earth with His Saints.

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved and the punishment of the lost.

We believe that Satan, a fallen angel, is the evil power of this age, the adversary of Christ and His church, and that His destiny is eternal punishment of the lost.

We believe that the commandments of God given in the Old Testament are fulfilled in Jesus Christ.
